Have you ever witnessed or experienced any of the following: seen an unexplained flying object (UFO)? Had memories or vivid dreams of contact with non-human entities (NHE)? Seen strange or unusual lights? Experienced an unexplained span of missing time? Acquired any unexplained marks or scars? Do you experience frequent or severe nose bleeds or have an unnatural fear of doctors or hospitals? This is by no means an exhaustive list, but they are all classic signs and symptoms of alien abduction (also known as the Alien Abduction Phenomenon). We  are here to listen and understand YOU.  The Washington D.C., Maryland & Virginia Alien Abduction Research Group (A.A.R.G.) is a small, part-time, non-pronrofit investigator / research group located in Washington, D.C.   Our primary purpose is to document and explore reports of alien abductions and UFO sightings, as well as offering confidential support to any individual in need of our help. This site is also beneficial for anyone with an interest in UFOs or the alien abduction phenomenon.  You'll also want to visit our web forum.  Here you can connect with other like-minded  individuals and catalog your own experiences. Remember -- your story may help someone else!  We offer other resources as well. Our suggested reading list contains a weath of resources which you may find useful.  Also, take a moment to peruse our list of suggested videos. After contacting us you will receive a unique case number. This number will be used to document your case even if you wish to remain anonymous.  In addition to offering  support, we will also work together to study your individual case and examine it for trends and patterns.   Finding the strength to cope with the fears and uncertainties of abduction can be extremely difficult.  Likewise, attempting to deal with the lingering impacts of an abduction experience can be just as hard.  We also encourage you to keep a journal to chronicle your dreams, memories, feelings and experiences. You may also want to keep a pen and pad near your bed to help prompt "first morning memories".  Converse with other like-minded individuals on a host of interesting topics ranging from aliens, UFOs and the abduction phenomenon to paranormal (ghostly) encounters, psychic abilities and conspiracy theories.
